Well my Christmas decorating is finally done, and I’m relieved. I wish I could have tackled it like this woman: all smiles and brute force.

The boys had a half-day today so we braved the traffic and the crowds and headed down to the Houston Galleria to go ice-skating. It was very festive and there were no injuries and no major falls. (None at all by me…success!) Here’s a shot of the boys admiring the giant tree positioned in the middle of the rink. Or perhaps they are just taking a break from skating…

A Big Birthday
