Most Anticipated Books of 2013

Naturally I have a list of books I simply can’t wait to read (don’t we all??)  The list of those I have to wait to actually be published is growing ever longer.  Here are a few I am eagerly anticipating in 2013…

  1. Yours, of course, is at the top of my list! There is also Scarlet by Marissa Myers, The Lost Manuscript of Jane Austen by Syrie James and probably Shades of Earth by Beth Revis.

  2. Counting down to the release of Austensibly Ordinary, of course! I also cannot wait for Susan and Deanna’s new books. I’ll have to add the others listed above to my Goodreads list — especially Parlor Games. The book’s description sounds delicious, the cover is fab, and I’m tickled to see it is a debut novel.

You and I are compatible readers, Blake! :)

There was another book I almost included…The Typewriter Girl by Alison Atlee. That one looks promising too!

      • You should know that I pre-ordered Austensibly Ordinary and Parlor Games immediately upon leaving your site. 😉 I’ll bookmark The Typewriter Girl as well!

          I haven’t pre-ordered anything. Can’t decide if I want tangible books or ebooks. :)

  3. Hi Alyssa! I have close to 70 must read books on my list. It’ll grow as the year progresses. Austensibly Ordinary is one of them. I see you have Parlor Games on your must anticipated list? I have an ARC. Would you be willing to trade for an ARC of Austensibly Ordinary? I don’t think I can wait until my pre-ordered copy can arrives from Amazon! 😀

Very, very tempting, Chanpreet, but I don’t have any ARCs left. I’ve shipped them all off to reviewers. :)

      (But I’m thrilled you’re excited!)

  4. Some fine looking covers there, Alyssa.

And Happy Holidays to you and your family. Wishing you the best in 2013!

Same to you, David! I hope neither of us is lost at sea for too long next year! 😉
